| Indian team offered Benz car for World Cup win !!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Indian cricket team has been offered yet another incentive to win the 1999 World Cup. Baron Electronics, marketer and distributor of the AIWA brand, is offering the each member of World Cup winning Indian team an E-220 Mercedes Benz car. At a press conference this afternoon, the company also announced World Cup-victory related bonuses to consumers. If India wins the World Cup, consumers who have bought AIWA products will get a cheque for Rs. 6000 as a bonus. In case of a semifinal victory the highest possible sum handed over as bonus is Rs. 4000 and Rs. 2000 is the maximum a consumer will be awarded for an Indian quarterfinal win.
